They are from the huge collection at the Archives Deschâtelets at St. Paul University, in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. If you are a young James Bay Cree, you might see your great-grandparents when they were your age.
In the early 1900s, horses, trucks, and motorcycles would have been mainly used by non-Cree people. Usually the missionaries, store managers or hospital personnel.
