In my own opinion, I don't think we get the best health care. It’s a double-standard situation. Indians are treated
different than the non-natives. We don't get the best of doctors or specialists because we live in the remote areas.
I think it's because we don't pay our health insurance, prescription drugs and medical services, and the government
picks up the tab. I think the non-natives who pay for medical insurance get the best health care that money can buy.
That’s what I think. That's why when natives go for check-ups they’re just passed through with no real thorough
check up. This is my own opinion. Long time ago, the government used to cover our medicines; now we have to
pay medicines like cough syrup, aspirins and others. They are not covered anymore.
