Daily life, girl’s chores
Transcript
Drinking water was fetched regularly. My sister and I would haul drinking water with pails by canoe from the river. We would store the water by the river bank. No one bothered the stored water. Even the children left it alone. We would collect the water when needed for tea and cooking. We did this during our summer breaks.
